The government scheme is now live and could save you up to £10,000

Browns are a registered Partner with the Green Homes Grant Scheme. This scheme is designed to make it easier for homeowners to make their homes more energy efficient. This means lower energy bills and a smaller carbon footprint.

The grant is for up to £5000 (£10,000 for low income households) towards the cost of a range of energy efficiency measures and low carbon heating technologies.

These are split into “primary” and “secondary” categories.

Primary products range from loft insulation to ground source heat pumps. Secondary products include double glazing improvements. The scheme currently runs from now until 31^st March 2021.
